If you've been around for awhile, then you know my Instagram stories consist mainly of food content; boring to some, inspiring to most.
Often I'm asked where I receive my inspiration from, what fuels my desire (and energy), and most importantly how I have the time to cook some of these elaborate meals. But to be honest, most of the meals I make take under an hour to prepare and cook - swear!
Meal planning comes down to one simple tool: organization.
Each week, I intentionally set aside time to sit down and begin planning my meals around what sounds nourishing in the moment, often extracting ideas I've been collecting throughout the week, feverously scribing them into the endless collection of Notes on my iPhone before I forget.
Then, I jot everything down onto my trusty meal planner notepad I created years ago that truly saves me so much time planning - and grocery shopping.

As I begin to browse through my iPhone notes, favorite food bloggers, and my own recipe creations, I have my work calendar open to purposefully plan easier meals on days and/or evenings that are busy.
Then, I put pen-to-paper and begin to map out my weekly dinners.
There's a lot of other factors that go into my method and madness so I'll spare you the details (unless you really want to know how I map everything out), I thought it would be fun to share with you all what I'm cooking up for the week: linking recipes and creating a downloadable grocery list to lessen the burden of figuring out what to cook, giving you a peace of mind that you or whomever you're enjoying the meal with, are nourished.
So, you're probably wondering - what or who is Sovern Table?
Well, it's a co-branch of Sovern Wellness, focused on nourishment through recipes, meal planning, AND my home micro bakery I'm opening up - soon!
It's honoring the sacredness of gathering around the kitchen table, after a long day, to decompress and share stories of your day and reconnect, but also share a meal together; it's nourishing the mind, body, and soul.
